Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Shanjoy Tours & Safaris driver-guide.
After a short safari briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and recover from your journey while preparing for the adventure ahead.

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart Nairobi at 7:00 a.m. and travel south toward Amboseli National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp before relaxing and enjoying the magnificent scenery. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife that call Amboseli home.
The backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro creates one of Africa’s most iconic safari landscapes.

Full-Day Amboseli Safari Experience
Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are often at their clearest.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation before heading out again in the afternoon for another exciting game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large tusked elephants and excellent photography opportunities.
Enjoy a spectacular African sunset before returning to camp.

Amboseli – Aberdare National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel to Aberdare National Park with packed lunch boxes.
Arrive at Aberdare Country Club in the afternoon before transferring to The Ark Lodge. Spend the evening relaxing while observing wildlife as they gather at the nearby waterhole and salt lick, often visible directly from the lodge viewing decks.

Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
En route, stop at the scenic Thomson Falls in Nyahururu for photographs before continuing to Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and later enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and abundant birdlife.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch at your camp or lodge before relaxing and preparing for an afternoon game drive. Explore the reserve in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, and many other wildlife species.

Maasai Mara Safari & Leisure Day
Today offers flexibility to enjoy morning and evening game drives while relaxing at the lodge during the day.
You may choose to simply enjoy the lodge facilities or continue exploring the reserve in search of wildlife. During the migration season, this provides additional opportunities to witness river crossings and predator activity.

Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Nairobi.
