Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Shanjoy Tours & Safaris representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore Nairobi through an optional city excursion before relaxing and preparing for the safari ahead.

After breakfast at 7:30 a.m., depart Nairobi and travel north toward the rugged wilderness of Samburu National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp before relaxing and preparing for an afternoon game drive. Samburu is famous for its unique wildlife species found only in northern Kenya and offers outstanding photography opportunities.

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.

This safari combines three of Kenya’s most remarkable wildlife destinations into one unforgettable adventure.
Your journey begins in Samburu National Reserve, a rugged and beautiful wilderness famous for its rare northern species collectively known as the Samburu Special Five: the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. The reserve is also home to large predators, elephants, and diverse birdlife.
Next, travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated birding destinations. The park is renowned for its flamingos, thriving rhino populations, and sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
