Your safari begins at 7:30 a.m. when your Shanjoy Tours & Safaris driver-guide picks you up from your hotel, residence, or airport in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing, travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint to admire the dramatic escarpments and sweeping landscapes below.
Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Relax after check-in before heading out for an afternoon game drive in search of black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the park's rich birdlife.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunch boxes for a full-day safari adventure across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara.
Explore the reserve's diverse habitats and search for the Big Five, large herbivore herds, and the famous Mara predators. Depending on the season, you may also witness sections of the Great Migration ecosystem.
Return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before arriving in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. The endless plains are home to massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and numerous predators.

Spend the entire day exploring the magnificent Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive through Serengeti as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Ngorongoro Crater, often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World," is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area supports one of Africa's densest concentrations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and numerous plains game species.

Begin your final day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Mount Kilimanjaro is often visible at its clearest.

The Masai Mara -Serengeti is a diverse and fertile ecosystem famous globally as the host of the Great Migration. The vast land is composed of open savannah, leafy grasslands, slimy slopes of the Mara River, and acacia woodlands. This creates a serene and charming environment for the wild games that call this home. Yet, these plains are the perfect representation of the survival of the fittest. A gazelle looking down for too long will become lunch for the leopards. A zebra calf must learn to run minutes after birth. The wildebeest must survive the monstrous crocodiles of the Mara River to graze in the greener Mara plains.
Within the enchanted forests and lush grasslands of the Ngorongoro Crater area, lions hunt buffalo calves. In Amboseli, vengeful elephants kill their cubs. It's these dramatic twists of the wild that we invite you to share in the combined Kenya-Tanzania Safari.
Highlight animals include Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos.
