Safari Highlights
Amboseli National Park- magnificent animals including the African big 5
- Stay at Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli or similar.
Lake Naivasha
Take a boat ride on the lake or visit the Crescent Island Sanctuary or Hell’s Gate National Park. Most grazing animals such as the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo can be found at Crescent Island Sanctuary.
Lake Nakuru National Park
Besides flamingos, Lake Nakuru National Park is popularly known for the easy spotting of the endangered Rothchild’s giraffes as well as white and black rhinos.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is reputed worldwide for the annual wildebeest migrations. From July every year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, antelopes, and zebra arrive in Kenya from Serengeti National Park. The slimy leap into the crocodile-infested Mara River is their only ticket to greener pastures. Faced with death, turning back is never an option. Their very survival is fated to the Mara Reserve.
