After breakfast, embark on an early morning game viewing in search of The Big Cat's family as they prey on herbivorous found in the Maasai Mara eco-system.
This park in southwest Kenya covers 1510km2 of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands, following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers.
It is typical open savannah, with a plethora of amazing wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos are also plentiful.
Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Masai Mara- Serengeti
After breakfast, you will drive through the southern part of the Masai Mara reserve on your way to the Serengeti. Your driver guide will assist you in clearing customs. After that, say goodbye to your Kenyan guide and switch cars and guides. The journey will then be safely continued to the Serengeti with our partner Tanzania safari guide.
You will have a picnic lunch on the way to the park. You will arrive at Serengeti in the afternoon. Go for a late afternoon game drive. Later proceed to the Serengeti lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Full-Day at Serengeti
This morning, breakfast will be served at a leisurely pace, followed by a full day of game viewing in this park. The Serengeti National Park offers rewarding bird watching, with ostrich and Kori bastards common. A variety of larks, finches, and raptors are also residents of the park.
The park also has a high population of Cheetah, spotted hyena, two species of jackals, African golden wolf, honey badger, striped hyena, caracal, serval, and seven species of mongooses among the other mammal carnivores.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will take a game drive through the Serengeti on your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest unbroken volcanic caldera, also known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." You will be able to see breathtaking scenery and game from both the crater rims and within the crater. You will then be transferred to the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
- Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Ngorongoro – Amboseli
After breakfast, transfer to the Namanga border, where you will clear customs and enter Kenya. Then, rejoin your Kenyan guide for the last leg of the journey to Amboseli National Park. Arrive early for lunch and afternoon/evening game viewing. This park is known for its large bull elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The park is well-known for being the best place in the world to get up close and personal with free-roaming elephants and other wildlife, making it a photographer's dream.
Amboseli, located beneath the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, is a striking contrast with snaking lush green marshlands and dirty gray plains. The vast herds of elephants and plains game are a major draw in this reserve.
Amboseli- Nairobi
Early morning game viewing in Amboseli National Park, followed by a flight to Nairobi in time for your next destination.
This will then be the end of your journey with us Shanjoy Tours and Safaris.
More about this tour
The Masai Mara -Serengeti is a diverse and fertile ecosystem famous globally as the host of the Great Migration. The vast land is composed of open savannah, leafy grasslands, slimy slopes of the Mara River, and acacia woodlands. This creates a serene and charming environment for the wild games that call this home. Yet, these plains are the perfect representation of the survival of the fittest. A gazelle looking down for too long will become lunch for the leopards. A zebra calf must learn to run minutes after birth. The wildebeest must survive the monstrous crocodiles of the Mara River to graze in the greener Mara plains.
Within the enchanted forests and lush grasslands of the Ngorongoro Crater area, lions hunt buffalo calves. In Amboseli, vengeful elephants kill their cubs. It's these dramatic twists of the wild that we invite you to share in the combined Kenya-Tanzania Safari.
Highlight animals include Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos.
