Tour Itinerary

Day 1

We shall pick you at your Nairobi hotel/airport then transfer you to Wilson airport to catch your flight to Masai Mara. The flight takes about an hour and a half. Upon landing, your guide will be waiting to accompany you to the camp, with a brief game drive along the way. Check in to the camp and enjoy lunch while awaiting an afternoon game drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with your Maasai guide, in search of the Mara’s resident wildlife, followed by dinner in camp.

Day 2

Your morning game drives with your Maasai guide takes you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other
wildlife of the Masai Mara. Enjoy lunch as a picnic or back in camp, before an afternoon game drive to explore new areas – including the safari tradition of sundowner drinks at the end of the day. Enjoy dinner in camp as you listen to the sounds of the savannah night.

Day 3

Continue to experience the vastness of the plains, and go where the game is with close (but safe and
respectful) wildlife encounters. Learn more about our unique approach to responsible tourism on a behind-the-scenes tour of the camp. Visit one of our local capacity-building projects and see how Basecamp is  helping local women to achieve financial independence.

Day 4

You will have a final morning game drive that culminates in breakfast back at the camp. After the drive, you will pack and prepare for your onward journey before lunch and the ground transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. This will mark the end of our 4 days unforgettable fly-in safari to Basecamp Masai Mara.
