Nestled along the Saparingo River at the edge of the Oloololo Escarpment, where lush riverine forest meets the open plains of the Masai Mara, Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is a premier tented camp of its kind that offers a front-row seat to the breathtaking Great Migration and iconic African wildlife. With elegant yet understated interiors inspired by Maasai culture, Kichwa Tembo enhances guests’ sense of privacy and immersion in nature. Besides that, the camp features 12 Classic tents, 20 Superior tents, and eight Superior View tents, all set within pristine grounds where warthogs graze just outside your door.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1
After pick up at the Nairobi airport or hotel, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your one hour flight to Masai Mara Lemek conservancy. At the airstrip, you will meet your guide who will take you to the lodge
After lunch, you’ll go on an exciting game drive in the Afternoon. Your guide will help you get the best from this amazing place this afternoon. Keep an eye out for big cats and elephants all across the Mara’s famous savannah grasslands.
Day 2
On this day, you will have a full day guided game drive. The Masai Mara is a hard-to-forget willife habitat because of its abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. With gently rolling hills and wide-open plains, it is the quintessential African safari experience. Expect to encounter large numbers of animals year-round, with big herds of elephant, buffalo and other plains game. It is also common to see predator interaction. Take your time exploring this wilderness area, reawakening your safari soul.
Day 3
Enjoy your last early morning game drive and breakfast at the camp before waving a fond farewell to Masai Mara as you make your way back to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip. From here, you will board your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, and is recognised as a commercial and financial regional hub.

Nairobi - Masai Mara
