Hell’s Gate Gorge

What to Do at Hell’s Gate National Park 

Biking and Walking Safaris

Unlike most national parks in Kenya, Hell’s Gate allows for walking and cycling safaris. You can rent a bike and explore the park on two wheels, pedaling through scenic routes alongside wildlife.

How to Get There

By Road

Hell’s Gate National Park is located about 90 kilometers (roughly 2 hours) from Nairobi, making it an easy day trip. The route is via Naivasha Road towards Naivasha town. After reaching Naivasha, follow the road to Elsamere Conservation Center, and from there, signs will direct you to the park’s entrance.

By Air

The nearest airstrip is at Naivasha, but most visitors arrive by road due to the park’s proximity to Nairobi.
